The FRINGE series represents the formal commencement of Khao Records, bringing the label into the public sphere. Khao Records was established by artist, producer and curator BenC Flat. Initially created to host his personal releases, Khao Recs has turned into something much more than originally intended.

FRINGE 1B is the non-dance based side of the FRINGE series and features tracks across the spectrum of electronica. With artists new and old, across a wide range of skill levels, this release aims to provide a space for pure artists to express themselves without the pressure of style specifications, or expected industry traction.
